The song, "And They All Came Home But Me (Once A Marine)" was first cut by our friend Gary McVay,
and included on the CD, Your Volunteers Stand True.
Later our friend, Chad Van Rys reworked the song, adding new music, and it turned out so well, Kirk,Sr., contacted Steve Tveit at OMNIsound Studios in Nashville,TN.
The finished product was released on a small run of CDs and digital downloads by CD Baby.
The CD Baby title is Chad Van Rys "The Veterans" , as this CD also includes the song written and performed
by Mr. Van Rys, titled, The Veterans.
Later our master of the song was included in a CD released by a military tribute project, To The Fallen Records.
The song was also included during the June 2008 opening of NBC TV's, Nashville Star, when Billy Ray Cyrus met the military performers on the deck of the Iwo Jima.
Mr. Van Rys has also performed the song at many USO type of shows all over the United States.
